Submission Information

Submissions must follow the Springer LNCS formatting guidelines and are limited to the number of pages of their respective category:

  • 12 pages for long papers,
  • 6 pages for short and student papers, and
  • 4 pages for system demonstration papers and NECTAR track papers.

Submission of papers is via EasyChair.

If you do not have an account yet, you can apply for one here.

Main Conference: Long and short papers

Long and short paper submissions must describe substantial, original, completed and unpublished work. Wherever appropriate, concrete evaluation and analysis should be included. Submissions will be judged on appropriateness, clarity, originality/innovativeness, correctness/soundness, meaningful comparison, thoroughness, significance, contributions to research resources, and replicability. Each submission will be reviewed by at least three program committee members. Final versions should take into account reviewers' comments.
Reviewing of papers will be double-blind. Therefore, the paper must not include the authors' names and affiliations. Furthermore, self-references that reveal the author's identity, e.g., "We previously showed (Müller, 2010) ...", must be avoided. Instead, use citations such as "Müller (2010) previously showed ...". Papers that do not conform to these requirements will be rejected without review.
We allow the submission of papers that have been simultaneously submitted to other conferences. Please indicate this at the time of submission. However, we will not allow double publishing – consider the Nectar Track instead.
